Order editing
Editing is for early corrections, before warehouse work starts.
In the interface, the edit button appears on orders with the New status.
What Can Be Corrected
Section titled “What Can Be Corrected”On a new order, users can correct products, quantities, prices, shipping cost, notes, billing address, shipping address, and return parent link when relevant.
Editing uses the same screen as creation: products in the main area, settings, customer, and addresses on the side.
Customer While Editing
Section titled “Customer While Editing”The screen can show the customer and addresses, but editing should not be used as the normal way to change the customer of an order.
If the wrong customer was chosen and the order was not worked yet, follow the company procedure. Often it is safer to cancel the wrong order and create a correct one.
When Editing Should Stop
Section titled “When Editing Should Stop”Do not manually edit an order after physical work starts.
Examples include sent to picking, picking started, products picked, packing, parcel prepared, shipped, or returned products.
Use the correct warehouse workflow instead.
If The System Asks To Reopen The Order
Section titled “If The System Asks To Reopen The Order”If another user or automatic update changed the order meanwhile, WMS may refuse saving.
Reopen the order, review the latest information, and save again only if the correction is still valid.
