AWB and invoices
AWB and invoice information appears in the order detail, in shipping and document sections.
Orders does not create documents from scratch. It shows AWB and invoice information when those documents exist on the order.
The AWB is the parcel transport code.
The order may show courier, shipping method, AWB code, shipment status, tracking link, print count, and last print date.
Adding External AWB
Section titled “Adding External AWB”The external AWB button appears only when the order has no AWB yet.
Users must enter the AWB code and attach the AWB PDF document.
The file must be a PDF. If the file is not accepted or cannot be safely checked, the AWB is not saved.
Do not add AWB to the wrong order. It is used for parcel preparation and delivery tracking.
Printing AWB
Section titled “Printing AWB”If an AWB document exists, the print button opens it.
If the AWB was already printed, WMS asks for confirmation before reprinting. Print count and last print date are updated on the order.
Invoice
Section titled “Invoice”Invoice information appears when available.
Users can see whether the invoice was generated, invoice number, invoice date, last print date when available, and download button if an invoice link exists.
For MerchantPro orders, the invoice may already exist on import or may appear after WMS requests it from MerchantPro when the order reaches Packed.
After issue, the invoice is shown on the order with number, date, and download link if MerchantPro sent that information.
For orders created directly in WMS, Orders shows invoice information only if it already exists on the order. Users do not manually fill an invoice or change invoice number from this page.
If invoice information is not available on a MerchantPro order, first check the order status. If it has not reached Packed yet, it is normal that WMS has not requested the invoice yet.
Difference Between AWB And Invoice
Section titled “Difference Between AWB And Invoice”AWB is for transport.
Invoice is for the sale.
An order can have an AWB before leaving the warehouse. An order can have an invoice and still not be shipped.
