Handling unit logs

Handling unit logs show the history of actions performed on boxes, pallets, and containers.

Use this page when you need to understand what happened to a handling unit: who created it, where it was moved, when it was sealed, or why it is no longer in the expected place.

You can filter by:

  • Start date and End date;
  • handling unit code;
  • user;
  • action.

Filtering by code is useful when you scan or copy the code of a box, pallet, or container and want to see only that unit’s history.

The log can include these actions:

Action Meaning
Created The unit was created in Putaway WMS.
Deleted The empty unit was deleted.
Opened The unit was reopened for work.
Sealed The unit was closed to protect its contents.
Unsealed The unit was reopened after sealing.
Moved The unit changed location.
Added The unit was added to a location or structure.
Removed The unit was removed from a location or structure.

Each event shows:

  • date;
  • warehouse;
  • handling unit;
  • source location;
  • destination location;
  • action;
  • user;
  • reason, if available.

Dates are displayed in the browser’s local format. On mobile, the same information is shown as cards instead of a wide table.

  • Use this page for audit and investigation, not for changing units.
  • If a unit appears to be in the wrong place, also check product Traceability.
  • If the issue is about stock inside the unit, also check Stock, not only the unit log.
